Diversity and Inclusion is a key element in the blueprint of Zeller’s culture. In 2020, the Zeller Diversity and Inclusion Committee (ZDIC) was established to further facilitate the firm’s efforts of fostering a culture of mutual respect, and to attract, retain and promote team members from all backgrounds, perspectives, and abilities. Empowering our employees to perform their best while being themselves is fundamental to our success – further driving our commitment of insight to value.


ZDIC consists of five (5) sub-committees, each with their own unique goals, working together to enhance our diverse culture, connect employees across our organization, and help build communities that protect, serve and support citizens equally.


Make a positive impact through collaborative and multidisciplinary approaches to research that focus on areas of great societal need.


Develop mentorship and recruitment programs to attract, engage, hire and retain diverse and inclusive talent to drive business success.


Foster a culture of civic engagement and increase economic impact through charitable activities, volunteerism, and creating strategic partnerships and vendor relationships.


Identify and engage in opportunities in the CRE industry where we can have significant impact on society to promote equity in the industry.


Promote engagement among Zeller’s inclusive cultures and perspectives, free of judgment, to elevate our business strategies

Within the first 6 months of the committee’s inception, ZDIC allocated a $10,000 donation to 15 different organizations across 7 cities nationwide that were impacted by social injustice and unrest. The committee also hosted also a “telethon” style event to raise money for One Warm Coat. The event resulted in a donation over $2,000, exceeding the initial goal by 137%, which helped provide coats to over 2,000 children and adults across the U.S.
