The Beginning of Chicago's History
Located at the northeast corner of North Michigan Avenue and the Chicago River, 401 North Michigan’s site features both local and national historical significance. The site was the home of Chicago’s first permanent resident, Jean Baptiste Point du Sable, forming the very beginnings of the city.
